You are continually eating because your body requires nourishment; however are you making choices that nourish your body toward health or you haven’t even thought about your choice?
There exists a maze of information easily accessed about what is the right food to eat and yet we are constantly bombarded with advertisements of food or having online discussions about what to eat.
Consider this: – How do you think about or relate to the food you eat?
Do you use food as a form of punishment or a reward or for nourishment, or you just eat because your body needs fuel?
This matters because our relationship with food is what drives our habits. This is what allows us to eat the tub of ice-cream, or have the slice of cake when we had beforehand decided not to. We know that coke, gatorade or V are the worst choices however still choose to consume them.
I challenge you, next time you are about to eat, to STOP for a moment and contemplate your relationship with the food you are about to consume. Like all relationships in your life, you want this relationship with food to be positive, so what you choose to eat can act to nurture you to health rather than make you sick.
